En Blanco 28 – Texturas en Hormigón

Textures are full of intentions and endowed with meaning.
This is the central theme of this issue of En Blanco, which analyzes seven works, by different authors, that stand out for the use of texture in creating their meaning.

Texture is a visual element that sensitizes and materially characterizes the surfaces of objects, but what kind of knowledge can a texture give rise to? And with what method?

Each of the seven works published in this issue of EN BLANCO is developed with drawings, details, and pictures. An identity card of the project and the image of the texture are provided – thus conforming the contextual level of analysis – the intention is to complement it from a global perspective in the set of the seven works.
