TC Cuadernos 128-129: Frits van Dongen 25 years

The quality and richness of the TC publications stand out because of the ‘trait d’union’ that they pursue between high quality photos, subtle drawings and extensive technical details. It is therefore that I am really pleased to see 25 years of my work, summarized by 25 projects, presented in this book. The 25 projects mark my time as co-founder and partner in De Architekten Cie. From 1987 until 2012 I worked on countless projects in the field of housing, offices, public buildings and urban planning. Therefore it is appropriate that this books starts off with my first housing project and ends with a cultural building, which – fortunately – is not my last cultural building. With the accompanying essays we have tried to provide for an overview of this period in my life for everyone to read and hopefully enjoy as much as I did making it.
