Publishing Acts II – Šibenik Alternating Currents

The second part of the ‘Publishing Acts’ series, this volume unites a set of collaboratively produced, open-ended socio-political imaginaries about the Croatian city of Šibenik, re-narrating its past, present, and future. Additionally, it is a critical reflection on prevailing processes, methods, and frameworks for architectural knowledge production, specifically on architectural publishing. When the contributors started their activities in Šibenik, they did not have a specific outcome in mind, but engaged with a practical, hands-on approach, which in turn determined the publishing format as a carrier of potential, something active or capable of reactivation, allowing for multiple iterations.
